LoL: M cup

Has been a while since I've had anything to report, but this is an oddity.

I've been following a small French LoL tournament over on Millenium's website. It was cast in French, so I listed along with my rudimentary knowledge of the French language. There were numerous delays and such, but I considered them pretty standard fare for an online tournament. There was even technical difficulties one day that delayed some matches to another week, but I took all that in stride. But the finals were supposed to happen today, and apparently team SK did not show up. I slogged through the French comments and found out that the IPL qualifiers are also happening today, and SK can't be in both games at once, so Millenium declared that, since the other team showed up, that SK forfeits and the other team (against all authority) automatically wins the tournament and the money. Odd way to finish your tournament, and that's putting it lightly - some of the comments are French for "epic fail of a competition", and I've got to agree.

But if there's things to be learned from this, they are two-fold:
1) don't overbook your LoL calendar. It IS unprofessional, as some of commentators are saying. It sort of IS your job, and you ARE earning money, so you ought to be a little professional about it, at least.
2) when you post comments in a forum, try to spell things right and use correct grammar, not only for the rest of your forum/community, but it makes things much easier when someone else needs to put your comment through Google Translate to see what you said.
